Everything on the lakes seems to be early! Chironomids are no exception. The early hatches are usually tiny chironomids but we have seen size 16 and occasionally size 14. Try gun metal chromies, chromies or a dull version of a chromie. Black Sallys size 16 have also been working at times. Stcking on many Central Alberta lakes has happened. Check the stocking reports for updates!
