Have you got your new fishing licence? Just head over to Alberta Relm to get your 2016-2017 Annual Alberta Fishing Licence. You will need yourWIN (Wildlife Identification Number) card to get the job done too!
My buddy Larry and I spent the afternoon at a local pot hole lake. We tied into some nice rainbows. I was worried that this particular fishery may have winter killed. Looks like that is not entirely the case.
We caught our rainbows on Glen's Leech, Balanced Flashbacks and a BMW (Brian's Marabou Wriggler).
Lets hope that other Central Alberta pot hole lakes survived the winter, especially those that did not have their aerators turned on!
