Throat Samples Can Help with Your Success

There were pin fry everywhere, so Karen and I just assumed the trout were eating tiny minnows. Some were but the bigger fish were searching for BIG pieces of protein. I finally got around to taking a throat sample and surprise. Leeches. I took another, again leeches. Karen and I quickly added a Glen's Leech to our ice minnow set up. Our catch rate certainly went up. Karen said that she was glad to have her waders on. I was too! Hope you have the opportunity to spend some time on the water!
