Rainbow Action from the Parklands in Manitoba

The rainbows in the Parklands of Manitoba's lakes can grow to sizeable proportions. These silver bullets are strong and not easy to bring to hand! There are times that 2x tippet is not enough! In the fall these chrome rainbows feed on scuds, boatmen/backswimmers, chironomid larvae, small damsels and of course forage fish! They too can be found cruising the edges gulping down minnows! These rainbows can easily put you into your backing in seconds.

...enjoy the action!

The wind was just right to park the boat and fish along a shoreline drop off!

Awesome photos Bob! It was great to spend another week fishing with our Canadian friends and learning how to fish the "Double Bernie". Thanks for all of your efforts. Steve, John and Gerald (Team California).
