Reid Stoyberg, a guide from Plummer's Lodge At Great Bear Lake and the Tree River

The first fly tying session of 2016 brought out 27 individuals to see our guest tyer Reid Stoyberg. Reid is a veteran tyer with our group and has presented many fly patterns in the past. Reid who is also a fishing guide at Plummer’s Lodge located in the NWT instructed the group on 2 fly patterns that are deadly on Arctic Char, Lake Trout as well as Brook Trout. Thanks Reid to a very enjoyable evening.

Steve Luethie who is our guest tyer next week will feature Pike flies. He suggested the following items that would be helpful. (a small hair clip, hair comb, hollow ball point pen shaft, gel spun thread and UV glue).

We have only 5 spaces left for the Philip Rowley Lake Workshop Workshop on January 30th. Drop Bob a note to get signed up!

...thanks Doug Pullen for the pictures and write up from Reid's presentation. Karen and I escaped winter for a few day in Hawaii!
