If you are willing to do some hiking, there is some spectacular fly fishing in the "canyon section" of this river. Take a look at google earth and you can figure out a way to hike in. It does require some effort but the fishing is outstanding. Just do not hike in just after a rain storm. The shale walls cause the river to get off colour very quickly.
