Happy Thanksgiving, Canadian style, for my American friends who regularly check in to see what is up in Central Alberta. Karen and I have been spending lots of time with our family. Tomorrow is "Turkey Day" in our house. We hope to have a full house of the kids and their families. Karen and I have dashed out to fly fish on the Red Deer River this long weekend. This time of the year we usually target walleye and whitefish. We leave the browns alone as they try to spawn.
Karen and I hope you have a a relaxing Thanksgiving. We always reflect on how lucky we are for many reasons. Stay safe and get out when you can to fly fish. Winter is coming quickly!
