Catching a permit on the fly is not easy. Stuart hunted for permit with his guide, Hilian Martinez, for several days. A few days earlier they were casting to a large POD of sizeable permit. Stuart was making perfect long casts but no hook up. Boy was that frustrating. Stuart had one last shot and he made the best of it! A POD was moving down the west side of Ambergris Caye. Stuart finally hooked up and after a nervous tustle, was able to land his first Belizian permit! Hilian was able to record the action. Way to go Stuart!
