It sure would be nice if people could just keep these hatches to themselves... Or even waited a few weeks after the hatch is done to post about it. I don't understand wanting to add the extra pressure to these fish. All for what?.. Glory? Bragging rights? I don't get it.
Perhaps right now you are eager to share because the stretch of water that you access is quiet and intimate. But one day, you will show up to new faces or new trucks at "your" spot and your experience with this hatch will change..
Hi Trevor!
There are currently three sometimes four hatches that happen at this time of the year in the dark. I fish all of them. As usual, I do not disclose where I am fishing or for that matter where others are fishing who share their experiences.
I am always open to constructive thoughts. Inflammatory comments accomplish nothing! I do not brag and it is quite obvious that you do not know me. Glory, not sure what glory is in fly fishing, do you? I do enjoy sharing fly fishing experiences. Lots from my wife and I and lots from others!
Enjoy the water you fish Trevor, better still get involved in water conservation. It is going to be a BIG issue in the coming years!
Take care!
