Back to Plummers Arctic Lodge and Balanced Flies Using Senyo's Fusion Dub

Hi Everybody!

Whew, what a hectic weekend with Pub Night and our All Day Fly Tying Workshop with Phil Rowley! Phil is doing another workshop in Calgary right away. Take a look at the details. It sure looks awesome!

Tonight our gang who travelled to the Arctic shared their adventures with a slide show and some video. I have posted all the action right below.

We also took some time to make some balanced flies using Senyo's Fusion Dub.

Next week, Dan Reaman is our guest tyer. You will certainly enjoy Dan's presentation.

Remember to get your IF4 Fly Fishing Film Festival tickets at West River Fly Shop or on line right here.

Please also get a ticket for the Central Alberta Trout Unlimited Dinner Auction!

See you next week!

Balanced Flies Using Senyo's Fusion Dub

The chaisis for the balanced fly can be seen above. Don't forget to crazy glue it! This is a size 10 jig hook with a 1/8th tungsten bead installed on a sequin pin that is tied in to extend the jig hook about 2 bead widths more. Sequin pins can be found at Michael's and some sewing stores. Smaller jig hooks and you can go down to 7/64ths or even 3/32nds tungsten beads. I usually buy my beads from Canadian Llama Company and West River Fly Shop of course.
