Dickson Trout Pond is a real gem. This past summer, the pond had a fairly thick algae bloom. Well the algae has just died off and the pond is fishing very well. Dickson is quite large and it has both rainbows and tiger trout! Larry and his brother Ken were there yesterday and they did very well. They caught quite a few tiger trout and a good number of rainbows on backswimmers and boatmen imitations. Well done guys! Dickson is best fished from a boat for the moment because of a weed line along the shore. Perhaps in another week, you will be able to fly fish it from shore!
