Prussian Carp in the Red Deer River

My neighbour and I were targeting walleye on the Red Deer River yesterday. We did catch a few but more concerning were the Prussian Carp that we caught. It is so disappointing to see these species in the river! They are not native fish and should be removed. My sources have reported seeing them in Red Deer River  all the way up to the Glenifer Dam.  They will quickly spread and change the bio mass in the river. We all should be concerned!

We did catch some walleye but seeing these carp in the river is alarming!
