Sylvan Lake is open to fishing on May 15th. yep this Saturday! Whitefish, walleye and pike are great adversaries on the fly. Keep in mind that Sylvan Lake has received a great deal of fishing pressure, now that each person can retain a walleye. I would encourage everyone to practice catch and release as much as possible. Also remember that your limit INCLUDES what you have at home in your freezer! Please respect our fishing regulations and call in to Report a Poacher when you see infractions.
Be sure your boat is ready at the boat launch. Do not hold up others. Also ensure you have all of the proper safety gear!
