I have had a decent amount of success with this micro leech! I tie it balanced using a size 14-16 Pro Tyer jig hook that I purchase at Canadian Llama Company. The body is made of brill. It is an excellent uv material that I use in many patterns because of how easy it is to tie with. I purchase the brill (5mm, small) at Canadian Llama Company along with the tungsten beads that I use to balance the fly! I also like to add an orange hot on the fly again using brill. Great micro leech and easy to tie.
I have used this pattern to represent damsels to shrimp. The trout love them!
